The Village Hall relies on fundraising for a substantial part of its income and our major events are the two Open Gardens afternoons when a number of gardens in the village are opened to the public, and light lunches, tea and refreshments are served in the Village Hall. We welcome new gardeners to show off their gardens, however modest, and helpers in the Hall are always useful. The dates of the Open Gardens are normally mid-May and mid-July but are fixed by the Village Hall Committee early in the year.

CCTV: The Hall uses Closed Circuit TV to monitor that the car park is being used only by Hall users and to prevent crime. This complies with the Hall’s CCTV Policy which can be requested on demand from the secretary Gill Cockle.
