The Village Hall relies on fundraising for a substantial part of its income and our major events are the two Open Gardens afternoons when a number of gardens in the village are opened to the public, and light lunches, tea and refreshments are served in the Village Hall. We welcome new gardeners to show off their gardens, however modest, and helpers in the Hall are always useful. Please contact Gill Cockle on 01908 584456 or Anne Papworth on 01908 583307 for more details. The dates of the Open Gardens are normally mid-May and mid-July but are fixed by the Village Hall Committee early in the year. For 2018 the dates are Sunday 20th May and Sunday 22nd July.
